We engage in the identification of structural challenges across industries in Japan and abroad, and support our clients from the conceptual and planning stages through to execution.
In addition, we provide assistance in capital procurement, corporate revitalization, and the import and export of essential resources, enabling us to contribute to national, regional, and urban development as part of broader social infrastructure initiatives.
Responding to the needs of our clients, we work to identify the fundamental issues underlying social infrastructure development.
With an independent and objective perspective, we derive the most appropriate solutions at each stage of the process and serve as a trading and consulting firm dedicated to the sustainable growth and advancement of each region.

MISSION & VISION
MISSION
urning your ambition
into certainty.
VISION
We don’t make deal to make money,
we make money to make more DEALS.
Every individual carries ideas, insights, and convictions shaped by their own experiences.
Yet in the business world, many of these ideas never reach execution.
They stall midway—unable to overcome structural barriers, resource constraints, or market uncertainties.
Genellon exists to change that trajectory.
As a firm specializing in business creation and revitalization, we leverage our expertise in international trade, market strategy, and operational restructuring to systematically build, transform, and scale businesses.
Through this disciplined approach, we turn challenges into certainty, and convert untapped potential into measurable value.
Our mission extends beyond individual projects. We aim to broaden the landscape of “challenge” across society—empowering Japanese companies to innovate, compete, and grow with confidence in the global market.
This is not merely about supporting ideas. It is about unlocking economic potential, revitalizing industries, and creating sustainable value for stakeholders and society.
The next stage of growth begins now.
Begin it with Genellon Inc.
Action Policy
Our Policy
01
For Japan
We respect every value and idea, and strive to discover what best serves the future of Japan.

02
In a rational manner
We advance a future‑focused, value‑creating business model—free from outdated mindsets and unproductive conventions, driven instead by rational judgment and strategic clarity.

03
Pursuit of profit
We are committed to maximizing value creation with disciplined focus. By researching the drivers that allow lean teams to outperform, we challenge legacy assumptions and redefine what competitive advantage truly means.

For Japan’s long‑term prosperity,
we pursue new resource security and business creation with a willingness to learn through repeated trial and error—turning each setback into strategic progress.
Genellon was originally formed by professionals with backgrounds in Mitsui & Co. and other Mitsui‑affiliated companies.
Today, we operate as one of the few true “outsiders” capable of enabling resource flows from overseas suppliers into Japan and from Japan to global markets—independent of traditional domestic structures.
In Japan, nearly 80% of imported resources and materials are controlled by large corporations and government‑designated industry groups.
For decades, this system—known as shitei‑dantai distribution—has dominated the market. While it once supported Japan’s growth, it has now become rigid, costly, and increasingly disconnected from global supply dynamics.
As a result, Japan faces structural challenges:
-
limited access to high‑quality global resources,
-
rising intermediary costs,
-
declining competitiveness in international trade, and
-
aging, inflexible industry organizations that no longer reflect modern economic realities.
These constraints prevent many excellent and ethical overseas suppliers from entering the Japanese market—leaving domestic companies struggling to secure the materials they need.
Genellon is committed to changing this landscape.
We are building a new, fully compliant ecosystem of producers, business structures, and distribution channels—distinct from legacy industry groups and free from outdated constraints.
Our aim is to create a more open, efficient, and globally connected resource network for Japan.
Beyond resource distribution, we support Japan’s broader industrial transformation:
-
advancing primary industries toward sixth‑sector integration,
-
revitalizing IT and SaaS companies (AI, applications, web platforms, e‑commerce),
-
restructuring and marketing support for food & beverage businesses,
-
new business development, and
-
regional government projects.
-
We prioritize small and mid‑sized enterprises—while also partnering with major corporations—to help them achieve true “giant‑killing” outcomes through strategy, innovation, and global access.
By creating mutual value, we believe people and organizations can form strong, enduring bonds—laying the foundation for a more resilient and prosperous Japan.
We look forward to building that future together. Genellon Inc.
